Day 1:
Arrival at Dublin Airport and you are met by your chauffeur. You then enjoy a panoramic tour of Dublin featuring the Four Courts, Leinster House (the seat of the Irish Parliament), the National Gallery, Georgian Squares and O'Connell Street. Check-in to your hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Dublin. |

Day 2: After breakfast you commence your proper tour of Dublin City, a place where tradition and cultural heritage have emerged seamlessly over the centuries to create a unique atmosphere. Your first stop is St.Patrick's Cathedral, to wonder at the majestic presence of this Dublin landmark. Next you visit Trinity College, proceed through the grounds of this hallowed education site. You view the Book of Kells which has been described as “the most beautiful book in the world”. You stop for lunch at a local pub and enjoy a free afternoon in the Capital City. Dinner at leisure in one of Dublin's fine restaurants. Overnight in Dublin.

Day 3: This morning you will depart Dublin and travel southwards through Wicklow County, known as the “Garden of Ireland”. You reach the beautiful village of Ashford . Here you are greeted by the proprietor of the well known Ballyknocken Cookery School : Enjoy a lesson on how to bake Irish Brown Bread. Following your lesson enjoy lunch here. The style of cooking is wholesome Irish – simply fresh local ingredients imaginatively prepared into a wholesome meal. After a thoroughly enjoyable morning in Ballyknocken it is time to travel through the counties of Kildare and Kilkenny until you reach Tipperary. Overnight in Tipperary.

Day 4: After breakfast you travel south-east to Kilmeadan in Waterford. This town located in what is known as Ireland's Golden Vale, home of our top dairy products. Enjoy the lush green fields and experience the beauty of the Suir Valley from the viewpoint of a rail-carraige. The locomotive will travel along the picturesque banks of the River Suir until you reach Waterford. Here your chauffeur will meet you and take you on one of the most scenic drives in the country along the Waterford and Cork coastline to Ireland's second city, Cork. Overnight in Cork. |

Day 5: This morning you enjoy browsing the stalls of the Old English Market. The Market has a long history, dating back to 1778. The Market was recently chosen by the ‘Observer Food Magazine', among the ten best food markets in Europe. After you stroll around the market stalls you are transferred to Ballymaloe House & Cookery School. On arrival in Ballymaloe you will have lunch and then you have the opportunity of taking a walk through their beautiful gardens. Ballymaloe is often referred to as the best cookery school in Ireland. If time permits, take part in one of the many award-winning classes that are scheduled here. Second overnight in Cork.

Day 6: It is time to depart Cork and you will travel westwards to the thriving town of Blarney. Visit Blarney Castle and Gardens and have the opportunity to kiss the renowned Blarney Stone. According to local legend anyone who kisses the famous stone high up on the castle parapets will be endowed with the gift of talking. Then take some free time to visit the Blarney Woollen Mills for some shopping. Continue onwards to Ireland's third largest city, Limerick. Overnight in Limerick. You have the opportunity of attending a Medieaval Banquet in the nearby Bunratty Castle.

Day 7: After breakfast you will travel eastwards and stop in the Heritage town of Birr. This is an 18th century character town, with tree-lined malls and avenues. You will have the opportunity to visit the Mossfield Organic Farm. This is home to the only organic cheese-maker in Ireland. Travel onwards to Dublin. To bid farewell to the Emerald Isle you will dine in Shanahans on the Green: located in the heart of Dublin City, this 250 year old Georgian building has been painstakingly restored to its original architectural Splendour. Shanahans is a place to dine quietly in beautiful classically proportioned rooms featuring original 18th Century plaster work and rare antiques from the Georgian period. Overnight in Dublin.
