Day 2: You commence your tour of Dublin City by catching the first open top bus for some fun in this capital city. This friendly and informative tour is complete with live commentary. Stops along the tour-route include: Trinity College, The Guinness Storehouse, Dublin Castle, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Kilmainham Gaol and the Old Jameson Distilery. After lunch you will be transferred to Dun Laoghaire where you can enjoy a romantic stroll along the Victorian pier.

Day 3: Leaving Dublin this morning travel to the mediaeval city of Kilkenny to see the wonderful Kilkenny Castle and St.Canices Cathedral. Climb to the top of the tower attached to the Cathedral to get the best view of this marvelous city. Kilkenny is often known as the Marble City and it has a number of craft stores selling Irish linen and pottery. The narrow streets give a romantic air to this town. Travel onwards through the counties of Tipperary and Cork to Ireland's second city of Cork. Overnight in the Kingsley Hotel where the interior with its meticulous attention to detail is richly adorned with tasteful hues, and most of all, a warm smile. |

Day 4: This morning you will visit the English Market: “This is an enclosed market with entrances off Grand Parade, Patrick Street and Princes Street. The origin of the English Market may be traced back to James 1st in 1610 but the present building dates from 1786. Long recognised by locals as a place to meet, eat and shop, visitors can savour the atmosphere and choose from the wide range of foods that 42 traders have to offer in this unique market. A “must see” in Cork. In the afternoon visit Blarney Castle : This historic Castle is situated near Cork in the village of Blarney and is world famous for the Blarney Stone, which has the traditional power of conferring eloquence on all who kiss it. The word ‘blarney' was introduced into the English language by Queen Elizabeth I who used it to describe pleasant and entertaining conversation that was possibly not all true. To kiss the Blarney Stone, set beneath the battlements wall, one has to lean backwards from the parapet walk. Overnight in your five star hotel in Cork. Day 5: Transfer to Ashford Castle. Enroute visit Irish Dresden Factory : where you will learn about the traditions and skills of fine lace porcelain manufacture, previously to be found only in Theuringia. Then travel onwards to the awe-inspiring Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs have been voted as the most romantic place in Ireland by Lonely Panet. They are 214 metres high at the highest point and range for 8 kilometres over the Atlantic Ocean. From the Cliffs one can see the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, as well as the Twelve Pins, the Maum Turk Mountailns in Connemara and Loop Head to the South. After your visit you will travel to Galway and onwards to the picturesque town of Cong, where you will have a candlelit dinner and overnight in Ashford Castle. Ashford Castle is a 13th Century Castle, once the estate of Lord Ardilaun and the Guinness Family. It opened as a luxury hotel in 1939. |

Day 6: Romantic Connemara Tour: Today you make your way to Kylemore Abbey: the convent of the Benedictine Nuns of Ypres, beautifully set on Lake Kylemore. Visit the picturesque Abbey and enjoy a stroll to the beautifully restored Gothic Church; browse in the craft shop and sample our home cooked food. Then enjoy the rugged scenery of Connemara, the barren landscape and lakes dispersed through the country side. Return to Ashford Castle for dinner and overnight. |

Day 7: Transfer across Ireland to the Dunboyne Castle Hotel. Stop at Newgrange : this Megalithic Passage Tomb was built about 3200 BC and it has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and attracts more than 200,000 visitors each year. It's then onwards to your last overnight in Ireland: Dunboyne Castle which boasts formal gardens. It is a true oasis for relaxation and rejuvenation. Enjoy a peaceful night's rest before disembarking in the morning. |
