Day 1

Arrival at Shannon Airport and you are met by your Chauffeur. Transfer to Bunratty Castle and spend some time at the Bunratty Castle & Folkpark, the most complete and authentic medieval castle in Ireland. Built in 1425 and plundered on many occasions, it was authentically restored in 1954 to its former medieval splendor, with furnishings and tapestries capturing the mood and style of the times. Enjoy a hearty Breakfast in Bunratty and then travel to Killarney for your dinner and overnight. Overnight in Randles Court Hotel, Killarney.

Day 2

Today is your first day golfing in Ireland. Killarney Golf Club is your first taste of an Irish golf course on our tour and, with three courses set in some of the most stunning countryside, some would say it is the most picturesque golf in the land and it is not hard to see why. This is the first club in Ireland with 54 championship holes to test the skills of any golfer. Firm fairways and true greens are the hallmark of these courses. You are free to try the Killeen, Mahoney’s Point or Lakabane Course. Overnight in Randles Court Hotel, Killarney.

Day 3

After Full Irish Breakfast it is time to travel along the picturesque Ring of Kerry route to the town of Waterville. Play Waterville Golf Course: Golf has been played here since 1889 and the links course still offers a real challenge to golfers of all levels today. Every single hole on the course is a gem. The front nine are relatively sheltered but you are left in no doubt about the test ahead when you reach the 9th, also known as the “last easy”, especially since there was nothing easy about the course so far.Waterville features consistently in lists of the World’s best courses, usually close to the top, and is a must for anyone keen to experience true links golf. Overnight in Randles Court Hotel, Killarney.

Day 4

After Full Irish Breakfast you will transfer to the small Kerry town of Ballybunion to play Ireland’s most famous golf course: Ballybunion. The original Golf Course is over 100 years old and was designed by Robert Trent Jones. The list of famous people who have played Ballybunion is endless: President Bill Clinton, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els and many more. Tom Watson famously once said: “I am now of the opinion it is one of the best and most beautiful tests of links golf anywhere in the world.” Travel onwards to Adare and stay in Adare Manor Townhouses.

Day 5

Today you will escape to the Wild West of Ireland and play Lahinch Golf Club:This Links has the distinction of being a MacKenzie Course, a mecca for keen golfers. The Course is set right on the Atlantic and exposed to the ocean through all her moods, moulded and shaped over centuries by nature’s harsh elements and occasional touch of human genius. Return to Adare for overnight.

Day 6

Today golf is served on your doorstep at Adare Golf Club. This was the last major golf course designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Senior. This majestic design has gained international acclaim as one of his finest creations. The Adare Golf Club measures 7,453 yards and uses 230 acres of lush Irish countryside. The exquisite parkland atmosphere of the demesne has been preserved with the course set amid magnificent mature trees and the course contains many aquatic features. Home to the Irish Open in 2007 and 2008. Return to Adare for overnight. Tonight you have the opportunity of partaking in a farewell dinner in a local pub. Say farewell to the locals.
